Sri Lankan New Year Festival 2025

We are pleased to announce that the members of The Athula Dassana International
Buddhist Vihara are currently in the process of organising an event to celebrate the
Sri Lankan Sinhala & Tamil New Year on the 12th April, at Springwest Academy,
Browells Lane, Feltham TW13 7EF. There is plenty of free parking available at the location.

Our 2024 New Year Festival was recorded as a highly successful event with
approximately 1000 participants. The event brought together New Year Games
especially for children and for families throughout the whole day. The 2025 New
Year Festival has been organised with added Games throughout the day followed by
a cultural show in the evening. The organising committee anticipate approximately
1200 visitors on the day.

Event schedule:

• Traditional Sri Lankan Games: from 10:30am to 4:00pm – more than 25
  traditional Sri Lankan Avurudu games are planned (children and adults) with valuable prizes for winners.
• Cultural show: from 4:30pm to 10:00pm.

Trade Stalls
